A tree filled with love and kindness grows at Hamilton

The kind acts of the Hamilton Primary School students grow on trees.

That is the Kindness Tree that blooms with every heart placed on it by the Hamilton students.

To celebrate the Random Acts of Kindness Week that is celebrated throughout the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District for the week of February 13 to 17, Hamilton’s staff placed a poster of its Kindness Tree in the lobby near the front entrance of the school.

Every student at Hamilton received A My Act of Kindness heart that they wrote their kind deed on and then placed it on the tree that grew each day during the week with more and more hearts.

Hamilton Principal Tim Beaumont, who joined his staff and students and wore  hats on Thursday, February 16, which was titled “Hats off to Kindness” day, spoke about this tree that sprouted during the week.

“We grow our tree each February with acts of kindness that are completed by our students,” Principal Beaumont said.
