Get your engines started, STEAM Expo is April 24 at Hamilton

The students and staff at the Hamilton Primary School are gearing up for the big date—-Wednesday, April 24.

On that day, Hamilton will sponsor its highly popular STEAM Expo.

In an effort to attract both students and their families, Stacie Griswold, Hamilton’s dedicated and energetic Elementary Teaching Specialist (ETS) and Science Coordinator, spearheaded an assembly for the 3rd and 4th Grade students and the staff on Friday morning, March 22.

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math.

While the students realize what STEAM means, Ms. Griswold put on this event to recruit and educate the audience about the many virtues of participating on April 24.

During the assembly,  Mrs. Griswold explained the procedures while successfully sparking the student's creativity.

She impressed upon the audience that “ALL'' students, staff and families are welcome to attend on Wednesday, April 24. The event will start that day at 6:30 p.m.

" This is one of my favorite events to attend because I get to see the creativity and imaginative experiments that students think up,” Ms. Griswold said. “These students are our future and I can't wait to see their displays on April 24!"
