Hamilton makes a difference during Thanksgiving week

The Hamilton Primary School made a difference during Thanksgiving week.

Thanks to Hamilton Primary School Secretary, Theo Lambert, the school’s annual Make a Difference Day food donation drive returned this year.

This event is in support of the Somerset County Food Bank, according to Hamilton Principal Tim Beaumont.. 

"Hamilton School has done it again! In support of Make a Difference Day, the national day of community support and volunteerism, Hamilton conducted its 20th annual school wide food drive to help restock the Somerset County Food Bank,” Ms. Lambert explained.

She was quite pleased with the generous efforts shown by the Hamilton Primary School Community.

“What an amazing collection we had! Thank you to all the students and families who participated and brought in food items,” Ms. Lambert said. “The Food Bank was very grateful and they are already looking forward to our Souper Bowl of Caring soup collection in February. Way to go Hamilton Tigers!"
