Hamilton's STEAM Fair featured clever and thoughtful exhibits

The young scientists at the Hamilton Primary School displayed their skills and imaginations before a large crowd on Wednesday evening, April 24.

On that night, the highly anticipated Hamilton STEAM Fair was presented when numerous exhibits were placed throughout both the school’s multi-purpose room and gymnasium.

Another successful STEAM Fair can be attributed to the clever ideas produced by the Hamilton students and the dedicated efforts of the event’s coordinator, Stacie Griswold.

Ms. Griswold, Hamilton’s energetic Elementary Teaching Specialist and Science Coordinator, was thrilled with the presentations from the students.

“Students in 3rd and 4th Grade were tasked with conducting an investigation to address a problem they had identified. They then had to present their inventions and findings to parents, staff, and other students,” Ms. Griswold explained.

She said “that the students had a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate the wonders of science and develop their curiosity and critical thinking skills. I am always amazed by their investigation presentations.”

Ms. Griswold closed:

“We are so proud of our students for their creativity and hard work! Way to go, Tigers!”
