Principal Beaumont honored with distinguished award at former school in West Orange

Principal Tim Beaumont of the Hamilton Primary School in Bridgewater was honored with his colleagues at his former school in West Orange by the New Jersey Department of Education at a ceremony on Monday, November 7.

The ceremony was to present the Redwood Elementary School in West Orange the 2022 National Blue Ribbon School award.

Principal Beaumont served as the Redwood Elementary School Principal from March 2018 to April 2021 before he took over the same position at the Hamilton Primary School.

Principal Beaumont  attended the ceremony in West Orange on November 7.

“I was delighted to join New Jersey’s Acting Commissioner of Education, Dr. Angelica Allen-McMillan, and my fellow former Redwood Principals, Mrs. Barbara Kivlon and Dr. Heather Carr, in celebrating Redwood Elementary School’s National Blue Ribbon School award,” Principal Beaumont said. “My sincere congratulations to Redwood’s students, families, staff, and current Principal, Ms. Kimya Jackson, and to everyone in the West Orange Public Schools on this prestigious achievement.”
