Reading is celebrated throughout March at Hamilton

There is a reading celebration going on at the Hamilton Primary School.

Hamilton Primary School is celebrating National Reading Month throughout March, when students and staff kicked off the month by dressing up as a favorite book character for Read Across America Day.

In addition, Principal Tim Beaumont reported that Buddy Classes shared special reading activities with one another.

And as a surprise for our students, Principal Beaumont got “stuck on reading” for our read-aloud assemblies!

Principal Beaumont also stated that the Hamilton staff has more exciting events scheduled for the remainder of the month, including a Barnes & Noble Night and a ReadaFun book-reading fundraiser organized by the PTO.

"We love to inspire students' enthusiasm for reading through fun events that capture their imagination! Literacy is the key to all learning, so we want our students to enjoy reading as much as possible. We're very grateful to our school staff and PTO for organizing so many engaging activities for National Reading Month and Read Across America,” Principal Beaumont said.
