Young musicians produced big sounds during the Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School Jazz Festival on Friday, March 13.
On the evening of Friday, March 13, five jazz bands congregated at the Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School to play an evening of jazz.
Barron Caromano, the Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School 7th Grade Band Director, shared the terrific sounds of the event.
"The Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School Jazz Festival was a wonderful evening of young musicians sharing their performances of big band jazz,’ Mr. Caromano said.
He added.
“Judges Matt Krempasky and Jeff Kunkel were very impressed with all of the bands in terms of their repertoire and performance!”
The Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School Jazz Ensemble capped the festival with its stirring performance.
Bridgewater-Raritan’s Middle School Jazz Ensemble was joined that evening by the John Adams Middle School Lab and Top Jazz Bands of Edison, the Readington Middle School Jazz Ensemble, Woodrow Wilson Middle School Top Jazz Band of Edison, and the William Annin Middle School Jazz Band of Basking Ridge.
