The masterpiece of art education is on exhibit at the Hamilton Primary School.
Christina Rosania is not only devoted but she is creative, too, in her position as the Hamilton Primary School Art Teacher.
She explained the lessons that she has instructed to her well-received students.
“The 4th Grade artists at Hamilton School learned that monochromatic means using only ONE color. We also learned about self-portraits. A self-portrait can show what a person looks like and more,” Ms. Rosania revealed.
She further spoke about her teachings.
“First, students used Math skills such as proportion and Science skills such as observation. They used a mirror to observe their faces as they drew,” she said. “Next, we discussed the meaning of color. Students chose only one color that best represents their interests or personality. They used Monochromatic coloring techniques to express these meanings in their artwork! What can you learn about the artists in these drawings?”
The finished product is now on display in Hamilton’s multi-purpose room.
