There was no fire to put out, but just eager and happy students present when the Martinville Volunteer Fire Department paid a call to the Hamilton Primary School on Friday, October 9.
The Martinsville FD's annual visit attracted the students from the Kindergarten and 1st Grade classes.
Also included in the audience who welcomed the fire truck was Hamilton Principal Tim Beaumont.
"A big thank you to the Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department for making their annual visit to Hamilton School,” Principal Beaumont said. “Our kindergarten and 1st grade students were thrilled to see the fire truck and meet our local firefighters. The Fire Department's visit is such a memorable and engaging way for our youngest students to learn about fire safety."
