The weather was far from ideal, but that did not slow down the Hamilton Primary School students.
The students from all grades participated in the annual Hamilton Primary School Walk-A-Thon, a healthy event that raises funds for the school’s PTO, on the morning of Friday, October 16.
The usual walking area, the playground, and the courts on the side of Hamilton were the track for the students, who did not let some light rain and cloudy skies dampen their enthusiasm.
Hamilton Principal Tim Beaumont shared his students' energy and their disregard for the weather.
“The Walk-A-Thon is always a highlight of the year for our students! It was great to see them ignoring the misty weather and enjoying being outside and exercising together, all while raising funds for the PTO. We are grateful to the PTO for organizing this annual event and for its ongoing support of our school!”
