An octopus stands guard at the main entrance of Bridgewater-Raritan High School. “He is Leonard the Claytopus,” revealed the creator of this ceramic sculpture, Lauren Yang, who will be a junior at the high school in September. Lauren worked on this nine-piece sculpture in teacher Angela Morin’s Ceramics 2 class at the high school. The idea to show off Leonard next to the steps that lead to the front door of the high school came from both Adam Leaman, an Assistant Principal, and Scott Bowerbank, who works on the grounds crew at the high school.
