All current students in Grades 1 through 4 will take the MAP tests in mathematics and reading during the week of September 23rd.
MAP (the Measure of Academic Progress assessment system) is a computerized adaptive assessment that “tests each child differently by responding to how a student answers questions and adjusting the level of difficulty accordingly until a ‘ready to learn’ zone is determined.”
Teachers will use the information from the MAP tests to plan instruction at the appropriate levels for students in their class. The MAP assessments also serve as a universal screener for students who may be in need of additional instruction through the district’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
All students will take these MAP tests again in the spring, which will provide growth data to teachers for individuals and groups of students in their classes. The tests will be administered during the school day.
Any questions regarding the administration of MAP testing can be addressed by our school’s Elementary Teaching Specialist, Stacie Griswold. General information about MAP can be found at NWEA.org.

Hamilton Tigers showed their school pride on the first School Spirit Friday of the year! It's been a great first week of learning, relationship-building, and fun at Hamilton School!

Visitors will step into new plush and secured vestibule when they now enter the Hamilton Primary School.
The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District opened the school year with secure vestibules, updated cameras, swipe, and communications systems.. These critical upgrades were funded by our2023 District Referendum.
The Tiger staff at Hamilton will also now work out of a new refurbished main office. That work was also completed this summer.

Wear your school spirit wear or school colors (black & red) every Friday to show your Hamilton School pride! Go Tigers!

The roar of the tiger was heard when students happily and efficiently entered the doors of the Hamilton Primary School on Wednesday, September 4.
On a beautiful morning, when all 11 buildings in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District opened for the start of the 2024-2025 school year, young students walked through the Hamilton doors to start their year of the Tiger.
Among the first assignments that these young Tigers participated in was a welcome from Principal Tim Beaumont. as well as some high fives from the school's beloved mascot.
